The reference intervals is calculated for both gender for all components with and without quality goals used as
explained here.
For most of the components there are two rows, one (black) where all
the reference values are used without applying quality goals, and one with
quality goals used (the % deleted are shown in last column). “Target” is the
target value for CAL used, “Median” is the median of the distribution and
“Lower” and “Upper” is the lower and upper reference limit respectively. N is the number of data used.
It is interesteng to note the marginal importence
of applying quality goals for rejecting data.
