Hello Dave!

I was very happy to find your site with the informative biography of Paul Zorner. I have written a book on my uncle who was shot down by Paul Zorner the evening of 17th January 1943, and I was informed by your site that this was his first of 59 victories. My uncle's Halifax was the first norwegian bomber missing, but not the last. I have made my own home site where all information on my uncle are presented, and would be very happy if I was allowed to copy your site with the biography translated to norwegian and put it on my site with a link to your site.

Do you know of any more information on the victory 17th January 1943??

Best regards

Pål Rustad

Hello!

I'm sorry for the delay in responding, but I've been very busy.

Thank you for the kind thoughts about my site and Zorner's bio I wrote. I have been told that he has read it on my site as well and was very pleased with it!

I got the information to write that from David William's book - " Hunters of the Reich - The night fighters " - ISBN # 0 7524 2027 5

I have spoken to Mr. Williams several times, and he is a superb person to deal with.

I have more information on that flight from his book -

You are more than welcome to use what I wrote, just make sure to give me credit for it!

Thanks for writing, and take care.
